1. How do I purchase a vehicle from your company?

Very easy, speak to or email our very friendly staff, confirm the unit you are interested in and we will send you a pro-forma invoice. Make a 50% deposit to confirm the vehicle and wait for copy of the B/L upon which we will require the balance of the 50%.

2. How long does the vehicle take to arrive in Kenya?

We work with the major shipping lines in Japan who handle shipping with the utmost care and diligence. It normally takes about 3 weeks for the ship to dock at the port Mombasa, Kenya.

3. Can I purchase vehicle not on the stock list?

Yes you can. Again very easy, speak to our very friendly staff and they will make sure to send you details and prices quotes of what is currently available in the auctions. Make a deposit and we will buy the next available unit in the auctions.

4. How do I pay?

Payment at the moment can only be made by Telegraphic Transfer (TT) directly to our bank account in Japan. Our bank details are indicated on the invoice we send you.

What are your payment terms?

To ensure the vehicle is booked for you, kindly make a 50% deposit on confirmation. We will require the balance upon receipt of a copy of the B/L which we will send you once the vehicle has been shipped.

5. Do you clear the cars for us at the port of Mombasa?

We can clear the car for you at the port of Mombasa and deliver it to your doorstep. We will ask our local clearing agent to get in touch with you directly and he will advise you on how to pay the duty, clearing charges and his own charges. He will also arrange for a driver to deliver your vehicle to you anywhere in Kenya. Kindly note that you will be required to fuel the car and pay the driver’s charges.

6. Can I import the vehicle under my private name?

You can import the vehicle under your name. Kindly send us your consignee details together with your address and contacts and we will make sure to send the B/L in the details provided by you. There is however a restriction on the number of units you can import in year under a private name. Kindly check with your local country importation rules and regulations to confirm.

7. Do you inspect the vehicle?

Our experienced staff inspect all the vehicles at each individual auction site. Each unit further undergoes additional inspection by QISJ, the Japanese inspection company contracted by the Kenyan government to inspect all vehicles destined for Kenya. Vehicles found to be unfit mechanically or otherwise are not issued with an export certificate and are not eligible to for export.
